Conxita's camp-site
Temperatures very high. Get to Maçanet de Cabrenys thirsty and hot. Beers and Fanta in Casino and then go to eat in nice restaurant (La Quadra) with terrace. Siesta under some trees. Difficult to start walking again but we’ve missed the bus. Pleasant path in the shade then big hill. Head for La Vajol where we are pleasantly surprised by Conxita and her little shop that has everything (including a terrace for drinks) and her rudimentary camp-site next to the garage with shower and towels. Shortly before La Vajol notable place where the art from the Prado was hidden during the war. Mosquitoes make us retreat early to the tent.
